New to tachographs?
Tachographs for vans from 2.5 to 3.5 t
Since 1 July 2026, vans and van combinations over 2.5 t that carry goods across borders or on cabotage for hire or reward need a second-generation smart tachograph, and their drivers follow drivers' hours rules. Domestic-only work is not affected. For many fleets, that brings drivers' hours into daily planning for the first time.
